AcyMailing new features

UX improvements

We’ve received a lot of feedbacks saying that our walkthrough was way too technical for new users so we’ve updated it to make it more simple.

Unified language system

Joomla & WordPress users will have the same translation system. This way translation shared from Joomla! users will be available for WordPress users and vice versa.

What’s next? ?

Here are the upcoming features we’re working on :

  • Notification center
  • Editor content replacement
  • UX improvements
  • Editor toolbar
  • Many more…

  • Atesz says:

Lol I thought AcyMailing 6 is still in beta. I’ve tried out about a week ago and switched back to 5.x. The 6.x looks like it haven’t reached even the RC.

    • AcyMailing says:

Why do you mean by RC?
Also, please let me know what’s the features you miss in AcyMailing 6 so that we can add them?

Thanks and have a good day!

      • Atesz says:

        -no 6.x documentation
        -no 6.x plugins
-no template export function for fine-tuning (or even view the source code of the template)
-no ability to switch between the drag and drop editor and the normal editor on a template (if you create a template with the drag and drop, you cannot change the editor later)
-this step by step method for example automation, mass action is uncomfortable. In 5.x we can see the process and settings all together for the action what we edit. In 6.x we need to go back or forward to check things… Same with the newsletter setup.

        Some feedback. πŸ™‚

        • AcyMailing says:

          – 6.X documentation is available here : https://acyba.gitbook.io/acyba/ and on our website
          – Some plugins are already included into the package : CB, WooCommerce, Hikashop etc.
          – The template export function is coming next month πŸ˜‰ We’re working on it!
          – That’s normal, we would like to focus on Drag & Drop editor to make sure people who don’t know HTML / CSS can use our tool easily.
We will soon bring a “View Sources” button so that people will be able to edit the source.
          – We know this, that’s the next big feature incoming. We will improve a lot the automations and mass actions.
We’re focusing on some UX improvements then we will focus on the automation. This one will be amazing! πŸ™‚

  • David Goode says:

I started with version 6 and have now installed latest v5. We have standard newsletters to be sent on regular days. V6 needs a new campaign for every release of the newsletter. That is simply unrealistic. It means creating a new campaign for every reminder.

As for progress going forward, how about a simple reminder system. For example, we have an event on the 2nd Saturday of each month. At present we send an email on the 3rd Friday before the event, again on second Friday before and a final reminder on the day before. This can mean the Friday email may be the 4th or 5th Friday of the month subject to either 4 or 5 Fridays that month. Would be great to have a target date with reminders at 3, 2 and 1week before the scheduled date.

    • AcyMailing says:

In September we will work on a brand new feature which is the Automation.
This will be out before the end of the year.
You’ll be able to create workflows based on events / conditions.

Something like : you select an event then define all the actions you would like to do based on this event.
=> On a specific date => send an email 1 week after, 3 weeks after etc.

Be patient, you’ll be amazed by this feature!

  • Ismael says:

A mi me ha pasado lo mismo, pensaba que estaba en fase alfa y veo que estΓ‘ en beta.

  • robert says:

Our customers love AM6. Much better than AM5. But what I miss (or actually Mail-tester.com) is a plain text version of an HTML mailing.

    • AcyMailing says:

That’s a nice idea @robert, thanks for sharing this one!
I’ve added it into our TODO list πŸ™‚

If your customers are in love with AcyMailing then please ask them to leave a 5⭐️ review on the WordPress extension directory.
This would help us a lot to increase our visibility and this would be the perfect way to thank the team for their daily work!
But sure that they deserve it! πŸ™‚

  • Woohoo! I’m excited to see this rollout. Are there any plans to create a cookie history function so after they click to a page, we can see where else the contact goes on the website?

    • AcyMailing says:

This is not planned at the moment but you definitely need to have a look at Google Analytics to do this πŸ˜‰

  • Marco Saluzzo says:

Plugins is the main feature which is stopping us from moving from 5 to 6. It has been on the roadmap to-do list since March. Is there any update?

    • AcyMailing says:

Be sure that this is the next big feature we’re working on.
This will be released before the end of October for sure !! πŸ˜‰

  • caeos says:

where in 6 is the unsubscribe tag to auto insert this?

    • AcyMailing says:

Please insert a text block then in the editor option (next to the font color etc), click on the “Dynamic text” icon πŸ˜‰
You’ll be able to insert some content from here !

  • Bastiaan says:

For (WP) powerusers V5 is still the way to go. Missing campaigns and no direct Woo connection, promised items for more than a year now and still not there.
Really love Acy and the team is working hard and also has good response to the support questions but development is too slow / not good enough to switch.
Really hope the October release will be the final step to get things right.

    • AcyMailing says:

Thanks for your feedback. That’s really appreciated πŸ˜‰
We’re working really hard on the new features / version.
I think October will be the month you will switch to AcyMailing 6 πŸ˜‰
